The blanket is fully geared for nighttime use with 3 heat settings and a switch with a pleasant snooze light. This switch is removable, so you can wash this heating blanket in the washing machine. How to use the electric underblanket Turn the electric underblanket on about 30 minutes before you go to bed, on the highest setting. Place duvet or blankets over it to retain the heat. You can turn the electric blanket off when you go to bed or keep it on all night on a lower setting. Machine washable You can wash this electric underblanket in the washing machine at 30°C. Do not do this too often, as this will cause the blanket to wear faster and may damage it. After washing, gently squeeze out the water. Let the heating blanket dry flat. Look in the manual of your electric blanket for full washing instructions. Storing the blanket Store the blanket in its original packaging if you are not using it for a while. Carefully pull out the plug and fold the blanket. Do not place heavy objects on the folded blanket or box. This will keep your blanket looking good for a long time.
